When George W. Bush visited Albuquerque April 29, a large showing of police worked the crowd of demonstrators with overbearing authority. Five people were arrested, including a disabled veteran who did not clear an intersection quickly enough for police. All were cited and released after the event, and await court dates.
Seven people who locked-down to Texaco gas pumps in Albuquerque last April will face a jury trial on multiple misdemeanor charges on July 25.
