...Friends of a Vermont activist tragically killed by police as he sought political sanctuary in a Brattleboro church last December wish to alert anti-nuclear activists in Vermont that one of the two officers responsible for fatally shooting Robert "Woody" Woodward also works as an armed security guard at the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant. Jim Hoffman writes, "I'm afraid that if (Officer Terrance) Parker were to encounter a demonstrator at Vermont Yankee, he might subject them to the same fate as Woody, particularly given the preset ability of authorities to label anyone near a nuclear plant as a potential terrorist."
